IDA World Congress

From November 7-12, 2009, we attended the IDA World Congress held in Dubai, UAE at the Atlantis Resort on the Palm.
On Monday 9th November 2009, in the Gold Room of the Atlantis, Hill Kemp, CEO presented to an audience comprised of manufacturers, government representatives, consultants, researchers and persons from the media. We received considerable interest in the Suns River Still (SRS) solar distillation technology from companies & consultants, as well as research organisations keen to understand its mechanics and the principles behind the increased water yield. We learnt that many of the attendees have on-going projects and are seeking an alternative, affordable, 'green' solution to a world facing water shortages for people and agriculture.
Many more delegates visited us at the IDA poster area for extended discussions and we are moving along several fronts to effect commercial application of our solar distillation technology. Interests include commercial, industrial and residential settings. We are also excited at the opening of discussions aimed at applying this breakthrough technology to distributed, needy families and communities.
