Hill Kemp - Chairman & CEO
Hill Kemp is an engineer, writer and inventor of the Suns River technology. He has had an abiding interest in water and water issues since his term in the Texas State Legislature. His career in consulting and leadership in the chemical, petrochemical and refining industries in the US and Europe, including management of research, gives him a unique perspective. His petrochemical experience includes assessment of a money-losing business put on the market by a Fortune 500 company and he led key changes as an executive in turning that business around. The result was an exit by the original client/investor at nearly tenfold the purchase price – over $100 million. Mr. Kemp is committed to addressing the water challenges which face families, cities and nations.
Jan Hopkins – Technology Specialist
Jan Hopkins has worked on conception, design, specification, construction, testing and marketing of several innovative, patented technologies. As a Plant Engineer with General Motors, he made his mark using creativity to cut costs – sometimes as much as $1 million per year. Some of the new products he developed are now in service by one of the largest players in their market sector.
Thomas Kemp, Vice-President and General Counsel
Thomas Kemp, a partner at Moore Kemp, LLP, has practiced law for more than 15 years. He practices in the areas of business law, business litigation, business formation and organization along with other types of general law practice. Mr. Kemp also handles appeals in state and federal court.
Joseph Esposito – Non-executive Director
Joseph J. Esposito is President of Portable CEO, an independent consultancy specializing in strategy built upon hands-on operating experience. He has worked with large companies and small, public and private companies, including service as CEO for three private companies. In all three of those cases Mr. Esposito successfully led the organizations to an exit for their investors. In one case his efforts resulted in a positive swing in profitability of almost 25% of revenue. He has served in an advisory capacity to numerous boards and consulted with numerous organizations, including Fortune 500 companies.
